Delicious bagels and so-so coffee. Why do I come back? For the various bagels, shmears, and awesome patio in the warmer months. What don't I like? It is very, very slow and that seems to be a common sentiment here on yelp. They literally have one tiny industrial toaster for so many bagel requests day after day. It seems a little absurd and their employees seem overwhelmed in such a cramped space. Huge eating area, tiniest of kitchens - you'd think it'd be the other way around! This morning, there were over ten people in line...I counted! I got my bagel and it was good, yes, but this service situation ought to be stepped up.

The bagel was good but I have to say that I ordered three frozen drinks and they weren't frozen, they weren't blended and they had way too much cream. I wasn't able to finish my drinks, they kind of tasted like expired milk. I did not care enough to ask the workers to remake the drinks because their service was so slow and they were being cold and hostile to me. Honestly I usually love Einstein's but this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money.

Awful. There was hardly anyone in the store with three people working and I had to wait 10 minutes for one horribly toasted bagel. This place stinks.

Ok so maybe I am weird but as I was waiting to pay I noticed an employee walk in with a bag of tomatoes from Dan's. Obviously they ran out. The other employee just took one out and just started slicing it. No washing, no rinsing, YUCK. What else are they cutting corners on. If a bagel falls on the floor, are they going to just dust it off and put it in the basket? Questionable food handling practices that makes me not want to come here anymore. Also seems there is no management on duty and employees lack in food handling or dealing with customers actually. Store seems in disarray.

I am not sure why, but the service here is slow... VERY S L O W. There has to be a more efficient way to manage the order flow. I have learned to order my savory bagels first, because if I don't ,my 6 cheese bagel ends up being infiltrated with my daughter's cinnamon and sugar bagel, it's not exactly a taste I groove on. They looked at me like I was insane when I told them about this. I go here because it's convenient, but I know it's going to take a lifetime to get done.

I used to frequent Einstein but I feel like they are going backwards. The staff always seem confused, the dining room is often dirty, and service takes longer here the other locations. As a brand, the breakfast sandwiches and the thin turkey sandwiches are great. Just wish this location was a little more consistent.

Ordered a turkey-sausage egg and cheddar. The Einstein making my sandwich forgot the sausage and the egg tasted like he rolled it in salt. Threw it away after one bite.

I've been here twice. Twice disappointed. I always order the Lox bagel when at Einsteins and it's always delicious. When I ordered it at this establishment I was thoroughly upset. Their 'shmears' are not a shmear at all. You couldn't scrape the cream cheese off this bagel if you tried because there isn't anything on it to begin with. For some reason they cut the onions and tomatoes 4 inches thick but they aren't wide enough to take up even half of the bagel. Any other Einsteins has it right but I don't think this one can grasp it. I've given 2 starts because the staff is nice and they're typically fast. Not the way I like to start my morning. It's a $7 disappointment.

Fuck this place. WARNING- never order anything with egg on it. These guys severely undercooked my breakfast sandwich and I got food poisoning. I will never eat here again.

Extremely rude and very slow. Poor management! Came in at 3:59pm on the dot today, the door was unlocked and when we got to the counter we were refused service and although the bagels we all in the baskets they refused to sell them to us because they were getting ready to bag them up so they could donate them. Their registers weren't closed yet, they were in a huge hurry. Obviously they were more concerned about going home. The younger female behind the counter apologized as we left and seemed like she though we should have been sold the bagels, while the man at the counter was rude and was over powering her and clearly he thinks he runs the store (she seemed appalled by his behavior). To make his point about not selling us the bagels he started throwing them in a large trash bag while we were standing there "here they are but you can't have them" kind of feeling. It was insulting and the final nail in the coffin for my decision to never come here again unless management changes and makes this right! The gentleman who works there is a full time employee, I've seen him many times and every time he is very rude, arrogant and very self entitled. The above experience happened all with the span of one minute. We did question his decision not to sell to us but there was no reasoning with this man, thus it wasn't even worth the effort. He needs a serious attitude change.

This place is a wreck. The bathrooms were not well kept, the dispensers were broken. Out in the cafe area the tables were ALL dirty with no employee in sight cleaning. When you're done and you go to dump your basket in the trash, they were overflowing and again, no employee seems to notice.

I'm a regular and the service is pretty good. It can be tough when they get slammed with tons of high school students all at once. Pro-tip: avoid the student rush at 11am M-F during the school year. The quality of the bagels is good and consistent. I get hot sandwiches a lot and they are tasty. The coffee is always fresh and there is lots of it. And you get free refills.

Very convenient for grabbing a bagel and coffee on the way to work, the trail head, or the ski slopes. Pros: 1. Good Location 2. Decent coffee 3. Decent bagel sandwiches Cons: 1. 9 times out of 10 they get the order wrong. I always ask for tomatoes and onions to be added to my plain bagel egg/bacon/cheese sandwich. Sometimes the tomatoes and onions end up on my wife's sandwich instead, or they don't put the bacon on, or they don't give you the type of cheese you ask for. If we're eating in it usually just requires my wife and I to trade out parts and rebuild our sandwiches to match our order or sometimes it's just a quick jog up to the counter where they'll promptly add whatever it was they left off. It's usually a quick fix. If your taking your order to go, make sure you check it out before you leave. 2. Maybe it's just my bad timing but it seems like the half and half is always on its last drop. 3. 50% of the time I am charged extra for adding tomatoes and onions. Anyway, fix the ordering problems and quit charging me extra for adding vegetables to my sandwich and I'll happily raise the rating to three stars.

Einstein's once had a local atmosphere with comforting sights and aromas. The new menu and interior redesign have all the appeal of a Burger King and the comfort of a hospital cafeteria...but without the lower prices. The colors and lighting are an assault on the eyes and the unimaginative aromas are an invitation to leave quickly. The redo feels like an attempt to blind the customer to the lower quality with bright lights and snappy sounding menu items. On a personal note, the things I loved are gone: Pastrami or roast beef, fresh tasting OJ, banana nut muffins and smiling employees. The date on this review is off by a year for some reason. I wrote it March 2011

Good location for a bagel after your hike up in the canyon, or perhaps a stop on the way to work if you're headed northbound from the suburbs to downtown. I've done both. Anyway, bagels are reliably good and their business model works great for reliable food, service, and convenience.
